Why men test

Signs it may be worth checking your hormones.

Low energy

Feeling tired most days has many possible causes. Hormone levels are one worth ruling out.

Lower sex drive

A drop in libido can be linked to testosterone, prolactin or estradiol.

Mood and focus

Low mood, irritability or brain fog can sometimes track with hormone changes.

Muscle and body fat

If building muscle feels harder, or you carry more weight around the middle, it may be worth a look.

Sleep and recovery

Poor sleep and low testosterone can affect each other.

On testosterone therapy

If you take testosterone, regular labs can show how your levels and red blood cell count respond.

These signs have many possible causes. A blood test can’t diagnose a condition on its own, so talk with a clinician about your results.
