A venous draw is the usual blood draw from a vein in your arm. A certified blood-draw specialist does it in about 8 minutes. It gives the lab enough blood for reliable results.

Most panels require 8 to 12 hours with no food. You may drink water. This is especially important for Metabolic, Cardiovascular, and Nutrients panels. We also recommend fasting for hormone panels so each test is done the same way. We will email your instructions after you order.

Immediately. After checkout, you will receive a lab order by email and can visit a Quest Diagnostics location that day. For ready-made panels, at-home draw timing depends on availability in your ZIP code.

Yes. Log in to your account and use the scheduling tool to select a new draw date and time. You can reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment at no charge.

Most results are ready within 5 days, and many arrive in 3 to 4 days. Some advanced tests can take up to 21 days. We email you each time a result is added to your portal.

Every lab marker includes the reporting lab's reference range and a plain-language note. If you test again, charts show how your results change over time.

Your report uses the reporting lab's standard ranges. EllaDx also explains what each marker does, why it is in your panel, and what you may want to ask your clinician about.

EllaDx doesn't re-grade results against custom ranges. Values are shown against the reporting lab's reference range, with plain-English notes to help you spot values worth discussing with your clinician.

Yes. Every report downloads as a clean, formatted PDF with all values, reference ranges, and research citations included. Share it with your physician, OB-GYN, functional medicine provider, or any other clinician.

When you repeat a panel, the portal puts your old and new results on one chart. You can see how each lab marker changes over time.

Yes. EllaDx is HIPAA-compliant. Your health data is encrypted at rest and in transit, never sold to third parties, and never shared with insurers. You control who sees your results, and you can delete your record at any time.

EllaDx is a lab testing service, not a medical device. We provide lab data and research notes. Your clinician should interpret your results and help you make care decisions.

No. A licensed clinician who knows your full health history must make a diagnosis. Use your EllaDx results to guide a conversation with your healthcare provider, not to replace one.
