Micronutrients And Cellular Health
the vitamins and minerals your body needs.
Tests vitamins and minerals linked to energy, mood, hair and immune health. Low levels may not appear on routine labs.
Low ferritin may play a role in fatigue, thinning hair and brain fog in women.
Some labs set the low end of normal ferritin near 15 ng/mL. Some clinicians also look for symptoms below 50 ng/mL, and many women who menstruate fall in that range. Vitamin D, B12 and magnesium results also need personal context.
Of U.S. adults have insufficient vitamin D (<20 ng/mL)
Of menstruating women are iron-deficient
Of U.S. adults fail to meet magnesium RDA

Common questions
Ferritin shows stored iron and can fall before hemoglobin does. Low iron stores may appear months before hemoglobin is low.
Serum magnesium measures magnesium in the liquid part of blood and can stay normal when body stores are low. RBC magnesium measures it inside red blood cells. Both results need to be read in context.
No - the nutrient panel doesn't require fasting, though we prefer a morning draw for consistency.
Yes. A multivitamin does not ensure each nutrient is at the right level for you. This panel may show whether iron, vitamin D and omega-3 levels are low or high. Talk with a clinician before changing a dose.
After checkout, choose a partner lab. For this ready-made panel, you can choose a $75 at-home blood draw if your ZIP code is covered. The draw takes about 10 minutes. Most results appear in your secure portal in about 5 days. Some advanced tests can take up to 21 days. Your report uses plain language and is ready to share with your clinician.
