Magnesium deficiency drives anxiety, insomnia, muscle cramps, and PMS — yet standard blood tests measure serum magnesium (unreliable) instead of RBC magnesium (accurate). We test what actually matters: vitamin D (D2/D3), B12 with the sensitive MMA marker that catches early deficiency, RBC magnesium, zinc, selenium, vitamin C, and RBC folate. What we test

Vitamin D (D2/D3)

Critical for bone health, immune function, mood regulation, and hormone production. Over 42% of American women are deficient, and low vitamin D is linked to depression, autoimmune disease, and increased cancer risk.

Vitamin B12 & Folate

B12 is essential for energy production, brain function, and red blood cell formation. Deficiency causes fatigue, brain fog, and nerve damage. Folate is critical for DNA synthesis and especially important for women of childbearing age.

Magnesium RBC

The accurate way to test magnesium — inside your red blood cells, not floating in serum. Magnesium is involved in 300+ enzyme reactions including sleep, mood regulation, muscle function, and blood sugar control. Most women don't get enough.

Zinc

Essential for immune function, wound healing, thyroid health, and hormone production. Zinc deficiency is common in women on birth control and those with digestive issues, causing hair loss, slow healing, and frequent illness.

Selenium

A powerful antioxidant critical for thyroid hormone conversion (T4 to T3), immune function, and protecting cells from oxidative damage. Deficiency is linked to thyroid disorders, especially Hashimoto's.

Vitamin C

Beyond immune support, vitamin C is essential for collagen production, iron absorption, and adrenal function. Women under chronic stress deplete vitamin C rapidly.

Folate RBC

A more accurate measure of long-term folate status than serum folate. Low RBC folate increases risk of neural tube defects in pregnancy and is linked to depression, anemia, and elevated homocysteine.

Methylmalonic Acid (MMA)

The most sensitive marker for B12 deficiency — catches it before B12 blood levels drop. Essential for women on metformin, proton pump inhibitors, or plant-based diets.
